What's the nearest hotel in 37 rue de Liege for students?

Hi guys! I have read the what/ to's/ how's questions and answers. I really enjoyed reading the comments and recommendation and suggestions. I am from Manila Philippines and this will be my first time to travel to Paris to study for a one week course in makeup. I am attending the academy in this address 37 rue de Li猫ge - 75008 Paris, France. I am travelling with two other girl friends but they are not attending the class, only sigthseeing, experience paris. I am both(study and sightsee/experience)

Questions:

1. What's the closest and affordable hotels or apartments in the address above? One or two rides maybe? that I can share the room with other 2 girls. How to get to the school and come back to the hotel?

2. I am scheduled to fly in October this year, what's the weather like? tips on clothes and shoes? what to bring?

Thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully you can share ideas and information. Thanks a bunch! NinaWhat's the nearest hotel in 37 rue de Liege for students?
I am not sure what you regard as affordable. But as you seem to be a student and are asking that price be a consideration, I will assume that your budget is fairly limited.

So, first, you should know that Paris has the best public transport system in the world and that the difference between a place that is one or two Metro or bus stops away from the address you cite and one that is is a dozen stops is really only a matter of a few minutes.

Therefore I'd suggest that you and your friend consider staying in a youth hostel. There are several very good ones and you can get a room together for a very affordable price.

Some I suggest are:

1. Auberge Internationale des Jeunes http://www.aijparis.com/ for between 14鈧?and 18鈧?per person (the price includes breakfast). It is about 20 minutes by Metro from the address.

2. Centre Mauric Ravel http://www.cisp.fr/cisp/index.asp Where a three bedded room will cost 27.40 鈧?per person (also including breakfast). It is about 25 minutes by Metro.

3. The Woodstock Hostel http://www.woodstock.fr/ High season rooms cost from 22鈧?to 25鈧?per person. It is a 6 minute bus ride from the address. What's the nearest hotel in 37 rue de Liege for students?
Try googling ';cheap hotels paris'; and see what you come up with.

The area 75008 is quite posh (this is 8th ';arrondissement'; where you find most luxury shops).

About clothes, October can be very rainy and cold, so make sure to bring some sweaters, strong shoes and a raincoat.
