well the eiffel tower is not in the center of paris. it s in the north west.


to give you an idea there are two areas were tourists like to stay with many many hotels ranging from really bad to awesome hotels, it is the opera area and saint michel.


the best western is saint michel would be ok,


saint michel area is in the center left bank of paris (other side of the river) and it s next to notre danme, the louvre and plenty of stuff to visit.


the opera area is a bit busier during the day and it is close to all the shopping department stores : galeries lafayette etc, its also close to the louvre (5-10 minutes walk), 5-10 minutes walk to champs elysees and place de la concorde.What are the nearest hotels in paris like hotels that are near the centre ex eiffel tower.?
We stayed in the California on Rue de Ecoles. Good, simple, clean, not fancy. Nice neighbourhood, lots of restaurants, close to Notre Dame, on the left bank.
