Columbus Ohio: Nearest hotel to convention center?

I plan on being there for the Arnold Classic in March for the 1st time ever. I'd like to be as close as possible to the Convention Center. Which hotels are the best ones nearby?Columbus Ohio: Nearest hotel to convention center?
I work at a downtown Columbus hotel - and you will want to book fast! The Hyatt that's attached to the convention center will probably be booked - as will the double tree and the red roof that's acrossed the street. go a couple of blocks away and you'll find more occupancy. Courtyard is about 2 blocks away - as is the Renaissance (where i work - and we have rooms available) - The hyatt on Cap Square is nice (bout 4 blocks) and the Westin Great Southern is about 6 blocks away. They just put in a Drury Inn or something up closer to the Center but it will probably book up quick. Everything downtown will be booked by mid January - and then you end up at the airport hotels or out in the burbs (at least a 20 minute drive) - They Hyatts downtown are nice (but kinda old) The courtyard is kinda boring - The nicest ones (and not just cause i work there) are the Renaissance and the Westin.Columbus Ohio: Nearest hotel to convention center?
I work at a hotel in Columbus Ohio. I would call now because Arnold Classic is a city wide cell out and beyond. I would try calling the DoubleTree Guest Suites Downtown, as they are pretty close. If you can't get in there I know that my hotel still has some rooms left and we are on the North side of Columbus. That weekend is not going to be cheap if you are able to stay downtown, just an fyi. good luck!
